Description
VITA-MAP 12-61-0, Mono Ammonium Phosphate is ideal for use in the initial growth phase of all crops, immediately before and after seeding and planting/transplanting.
- • Highly efficient source of phosphorus as phosphate (H2PO4-) which promotes rapid absorption by the plant.
- • VITA-MAP provides an acidifying effect on the soil solution favoring the solubility of phosphorus and micronutrients.
- • Freely soluble and quickly dissolving.
- • Product of high purity, no residue or contaminants.
Do not mix the product with Calcium containing products.
Mixing the product with Magnesium based products needs extra caution! Their compatibility is reliant on ph and water quality! Before mixing them in large quantities, a small test is required!
Recommended dilution rate, for stock solutions = 15 kg / 100 liter water
- 1. High in phosphorus and nitrogen content
- 2. Can be easily mixed with single or compound fertilizers
- 3. Ensures quick start of the crop
- 4. Is the right source of phosphorus at flower initiation
- 5. Ideal P source for alkaline soils
- 6. Do not mix VITA-MAP with Ca. / Mg in 1 tank
- 1. VITA-MAP has a high nutrient content in both phosphorus (P2O5) and nitrogen (NH4). The product is an perfect base for a fertigation program. VITA-MAP can be used as the sole phosphorus-source for the complete crop cycle.
- 2. Usually, VITA-MAP is used in combination with single fertigation fertilizers like or other single fertilizers like ammonium nitrate or urea. By varying the rate of VITA-MAP in the solution the right balance between nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium is obtained.
- 3. VITA-MAP is especially suitable in the growth period when the root establishment needs to take place. Sufficient phosphorus supply for transplants and crops that have to create a root system is crucial for a good start. VITA-MAP is the product to perfectly start production.
- 4. The phosphorus in VITA-MAP can also be used to prevent fruits from aborting fruits e.g. in melon. Sufficient P-supply is crucial in this stage. VITA-MAP can be included in the fertilizer program to initiate flowering so the need for phosphorus in the flower development stage is fulfilled.
- 5. The pH of VITA-MAP is 4,5 (at a 1%solution) it, therefore, acidifies the substrate on which it is grown. This makes VITA-MAP the ideal phosphorus fertilizer in alkaline soil situations.
- 6. Do not mix VITA-MAP with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) fertilizers. To avoid precipitation dissolve VITA-MAP in a different tank. Dissolve Calcium or Magnesium products in a different tank.
